Please follow the steps mentioned below to approve a transition which has been configured using Easy Approval For Jira:

  • Open the issue where you want to approve the transition.

  • Click on “Open Easy Approval for Jira“

    •  

  • You will be able to see the details of the approval required/ given. This includes:

    • The name of the approval/ rule.

    • Transition for which the rule is applicable.

    • Rule condition- Any or All users?

    • Details of the Approvers and if the approval has been given or not.

  • If you are one of the approvers, you will be able to see a button “Approve“. You need to click on the “Approve“ button to give your approval.

  • If a user tries to perform a transition which has not been approved yet, the user will get an error as follows:
